The word integrity comes from the Latin integritas, which means oneness, wholeness. It is the strength and honesty that comes from being unified, whole, and undivided; where all the parts of oneself are welcomed.
The practice of Acupuncture and East Asian Herbal Medicine is one which seeks to see each person as a whole, and to help guide them toward their unique balance.
It excels in treating all sorts of conditions such as acute or chronic pain, sports injuries, migraines and headaches, digestive issues, sleep problems, and allergies; as well as supporting individuals through pregnancy, labor/delivery prep, post-partum recovery, and alleviating peri-/post-menopausal symptoms.
We can use this medicine to discover our most authentic truths, to resolve disease, and to experience the health and vitality that flows when we are integrated within body, mind, and spirit.
Carolyn Arenas, MAcHM, AEMP/LAc, RN, is a nationally board-certified Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. She earned her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine. Carolyn has worked in a variety of clinical settings since 2006, including Cardiac Care, Oncology, and Hospice/Palliative Care.
